Newsflash to my adorable and strong-willed 2 year old: Mommy ALWAYS wins! Please understand this sooner rather than later, and save yourself some tears.
Yesterday, this battle has been over cleaning up. We were at a stand-off for about 40 minutes over cleaning up crayons. It would go something like this.
MOMMY: Clean up the crayons
ANTHONY: Throws crayons on the floor
Antony sits in time out.
Wash rinse, repeat.
He finally cleaned them all up, by himself, and next time I asked him to do it, he listened the first time.
Today's battle is over nap time. He keeps getting out of bed. Anthony is exhausted, and will be taking a nap today whether he likes it or not. He is going to have to learn this the hard way.
